Artist Spotlight #1 - Blaznjake

  Hello, I'm Logan, a new writer for Strange Encounters! Yesterday, for my first of many Artist Spotlights we chose Blaznjake, a digital psychedelic rock artist.

    Blaznjake was introduced to numerous genres when he was a kid, and loved music so much that he would sit for hours listening to movie soundtracks as a kid. He wanted to start a band in elementary school, but he never joined a band until 8th grade. While his band for 8th grade didn't last long, he started a band with his friend in high school, called Starblaze. They still make music together to this day, but eventually there came a day when he wanted to start a solo project. After amazing feedback for the idea, he started what we know as Blaznjake.

"Music always gave me confidence when I was growing up, looking up to many of the greats they showed me anyone can do it too. I heard and felt the stories the singers were projecting an dI wanted to have my own outlet in life."

    With that, Blaznjake released his first single on October 5th, 2021 called EVERYNIGHT. This song is three minutes long, but it feels like you're stuck in a loop when it's play. It feels like a never ending fever dream. The music gives major 80's vibes, and I thought of Stranger Thing's when l listened to it. The lyrics discuss heartbreak, for example ;"A million times, I've worried and hurried, still in no control; it's time for me to take over the life you stole." Listen

He then released "FELT" on September 23, 2022. Listen

"YESTERDAY" was his third release was a year later on September 8, 2023. Listen

"FLYING EYES" was released on January 26, 2023. Listen

"4EVER SLEEP" was released on March 22, 2024. Listen

"LOST LOVE" was released May 10, 2024. Listen

"DEMON TIME" was released on August 30, 2024. Listen

    His latest release "Txeaxrex" was released on October 18, 2024. This song manages to be sad, and also something to jam to. I love how with every song it feels like it can implemented into anything. This song would be astounding in a video game, or even a movie. His music gives great cinematic vibes. Listen
