New Release! Around the Knife - Linchpin
Released December 13, 2024
Emo Punk Band Linchpin released their debut single, 'Around the Knife', last Friday! I immediately fell in love with the repeating hook "If I could see through my own thick skin, I can see through yours," which echoes throughout the song over and over again, while still remaining fresh. The garage band aesthetic of the single is what one would come to expect from music within this scene, but Linchpin play into it, which enhances the music even more. Check it out!

Don't know what to listen to? Try these! (...it's 90% midwestern emo, don't look at me like that...)
Now, this article was mostly an excuse to force my music taste onto you all, and what I'm currently interested in... but we're just going to gloss over that. Here are my December music recommendations for you all! Hopefully you find something you enjoy!
New Release! Beach Bums - IRL
Released November 13, 2024
Indie band Beach Bum's released their sixth album early of last November! This LP was a ride the entire way through, and is as chill as it is angsty. The things that I'll always miss, my favorite song, is a perfect statement for what this album is. It screams heartbreak, and the feeling of running away from home. I love it, and I think you will too. Check it out using the links above, and show Beach Bum's some love!

New Release! Mind is the Fear Killer - Concave
Released November 22nd, 2024
Four piece Rock band, Concave, released their debut EP 'Mind Is The Fear Killer.' This EP features six song's, and comes out to just about under 16 minutes; 15 minutes, and 55 minutes to be exact. After giving this a listen, I gotta' say that Take Care of Me Pt. I is my favorite track off of this EP, but Rush is a close second. 'Mind is the Fear Killer' is a smooth chill ride, that is nothing but vibes the whole way through. It's slightly reminiscent of early 80's rock, at least in my opinion, at that is stylized in the album cover as well. Additionally, I think the signature's in the top left were such a cool touch, and I just had to mention that. Check it out! and show Concave some support!
